I downloaded CNE ASR and other files for 34xx with Map Updater, I never used LT Updater and I dont have it installed
ASR files came via webupdater but not until I "enabled" the voice command feature.
Yes LMT. Using Garmin Map Updater 2.7.10 Suspect you are correct as the Garmin Mapp updater "sees" a 3790 each time.
Will reinstall LMifetime Updater and try as you suggest. Had to unistall to flash 37 to 34 for some reason.

@catymag
Did map updater recognise your device as 37xx?
For me Map Updater sees device as 3790. States "Nuvi 3790 is connected"
yes but it downloads files for 34xx coz Device.xml is modified

Can anyone answer this yet ?
And I thought the traffic firmware is stored in the receiver and not the GPS... correct ?
So we will not get any of the new enhanced traffic features unless we get a GTM-60 receiver ?
How is the traffic function using the GTM-25 that comes with the 3790 working ?
Dummy question. I've got a 3760T. What exactly go I gain from converting to 3460T?
CatyMag,
How about the other features? Particularly the detail level of the maps and showing the upcoming streets in the upper bar like the 3790 does ?
And do you think that if I hooked up a GTM-60 traffic receiver that it would provide all of the so-called enhanced traffic such as 3-D ?
