Yes ,it will update like a 34xx, with all the additional files required for a 34xx, no problem.

I just downloaded the Enable Features files.rar file and all the xml files are 0 bytes, is this correct?

I ask because I copied them to the \Garmin folder, then restart the nuvi but none of the features like Voice Command are activated, and the files still remain in the \Garmin folder on the nuvi.

EDIT UPDATE: Nevermind. I got the extra features to work after I had downloaded the convert37x34.zip file and extracted the contents to an SD card and let it flash. The 0 byte xml files were still in the \Garmin folder however, I have manually deleted these.

Unfortunately there are no ASR 2.0 files available to download from Garmin for 34xx units in Australia running Aus/NZ Sensis map. Voice command will still function but you will get the dreaded "....feature not available ..." response for some of the FIND commands.
Best solution (if voice command feature is important to you) is to use the Navteq map which has an ASR 2 file available for Aus/NZ Navtech map. This gives COMPLETE voice command function.
Tested and verified on aussi 3790LMT converted to 3490.

Firmware.rgn is normal 34xx gupdate.gcd saved as .rgn with RGN Tool by turboccc, no need any modding.
Get simply 34xx firmware from Garmin update page, extract .rgn and flash following with care the procedure and instructions in post n1.
Hit "Like" button to see the hidden content ,as usual

silly question here i know i read this here but want to double check with you guys.

    1. Can i use webupdater to update fw from my converted 37xx/34xx? just need to be patient because it takes a while to load (more than 5mins) then after fw updates clear non vol and point mass storage?
    2. If not just use the normal flashing method?

Here is the size of other Garmin devices FW files to compare with 34xx/35xx :
    - 34xx/35xx :77,63 Mb
    - 37xx : 50.75 Mb
    - 24xx : 38.16 Mb
    - 1490TV : 15.8 Mb
    - Montana : 16.5 Mb
    - 62st : 5.34 Mb
    - 7xx : 9.5 Mb
    - 2x5w : 8.91 Mb

You can see that the difference in size and time to load is ...huge!!!

The same way you enabled features. The only difference is the file names. They must be with text "disabled" instead of "enabled".
    DeviceConfig_VideoPlayback_Enabled.xml -> DeviceConfig_VideoPlayback_Disabled.xml etc.
