Everything works as it should and all appears as if they were 3490 I was just curious about how it can happen. were supposed to have been fun if all showed 34xx or 3490 on startup
leiwi
Go to about and see what it shows, if it shows 34xx you have a problem-
Don't get me wrong, English is not my first language. Thank you anyway. I will keep trying.

now you have answered me rather strange twice, it's no problem everything works as it shell .I just wondered how it could be different text on splashscreenen with different devices when I used the same files
what do you mean if it shows 34xx then I have problems?
leiwi
You will get problems only if you'll flash back to 3790. If you will use device as 34xx you will experience no problems. All features can be turned on by using xml files already posted in this thread.Quote:

The intact Non Vol memory will show 3450/3490 or 3750/3790 on about page , not 37xx or 34xx.Quote:

34xx is not matter because we have XML file to enable all features.
37xx will show the problems. You will loss features , example - Bluetooth.

Ok I think I understand
You lost your model n., look at GarminDevice.xml in Garmin folder and you'll see the difference with the previous file in your backup, if you're interested in recovering it send me a pm, probably I can help.
Can 3760 be converted to 3490 (3D)?
Will the use of the xml files enable the 3D features?
