You have "error" on the first two because string after the last comma is considered as file name. Empty file name gives open file error.

    Thanks. Strange. Syntax is rrgn,<rgn #>,<output path> . But <output path> it's not the filename.
You are right. Now it worked. Thank you once more.

If your computer does not recognize your Nuvi because your device is formatted to NTFS you can fix it:

    Instructions:

    1) Take an empty SD card.

    2) Download the file corresponding to your device (links below).

    3) Extract the contents of zip files for your model on the SD card.

    4) Insert SD card in to your device and turn it on.

    5) On device screen you will see "Loader" or "Loader Loading"

    6) The process takes anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes may also be less.

    7) When you finish Nuvi normally connects to the PC.

    8) All folders are empty on Nuvi so we need to start Webupdater to download missing files.

    9) Re-download the necessary maps, timezone.

    10) Once you have all this done Nuvi normal turn on.

    11) Make a Hard Reset to your Nuvi (Delete user settings)

    12) Now you have a Nuvi functioning again.

I think this custom file system header is made by Alexander2010s'. (2.bin) Wondering who had posted it in internet? But surely it is working. Not very sure will it work on nuvi 200 (HwID660) because 200 are different from the others.

No, this is not the way Alexander does it. Alexander's way is more universal, because it doesn't require that the firmware boots at all. And devices formatted to NTFS refuse to boot quite often. For example 37xx just hangs.

voayger56, This is outrageous! If you publish my recovery tools for nuvi, then at least provide the author!
Incidentally, this method never worked for Nuvi 2x0!

I already posted link where these tools are posted. There is no info about you.
I didn't know who is the author.
BTW kunix stated "No, this is not the way Alexander does it. Alexander's way is more universal, because it doesn't require that the firmware boots at all."
