Thanks for the file. No worry, I know how it was done. It's a gps flash dump of the region 0x10 that contains the splash logo.

There are interesting text strings in 34xx firmware:
My first idea was to create files with these names, but it didn't worked. Now I'm back on 3700, but looks like there is a way to enable mp3. Probably dangerous, can make any discoverer mute :(Code:0:/Garmin/DeviceConfig_3DBuildings_Enabled.xml

Hi Kanopus,
No, the files are good. You are missing the last one that triggers all the other ones:
UpdateDeviceConfig.xml
Make sure not to put both Enabled & Disabled for the same feature... :)
Yes, I found it too. You need to create empty file with any feature you like and add empty /Garmin/UpdateDeviceConfig.xml
After restart you can see which features are active in /.System/Diag/html/supported_features.html
Nuvi remembers settings and files can be deleted (or nuvi delete files itself).
Reset or clearing nonvolatile memory don't remove features.
I have added only mp3 and got 3D building and 3D terrain too. But have lost volume menu, no settings for automatic volume level now.
Strange. I did not have this problem. Make sure you put all the files with the proper enabled/disabled. If you put only some, the others are disabled by default.
