Unhappy Garmin 1300 is going to be a paperweight!

    Hi All!
I only hope that somebody can help me with my problem described below.
I have a Garmin Nuvi 1300 which is going to be a luxurious paperweight!
The device worked well before I added some XX.kbd files into the keyboards folder in the device. After that, the device can neither be recognized by any computers nor be turned on even push the power button for 10 seconds. It always showed me the logo of Garmin with a blue triangle again and again. I tried to get into the pre boot mode and use updater.exe with nuvi13xxand14xxseries_GCDFile__540.rgn to reinstall the software in the device. It made a little bit progress because the updater.exe can find the device by USB device and the screen of the device showed loading software. But after that, the problems were still there.
Any ideas on how I can possibly fix it on my own? Thanks a lot !

It works! Thank you very much!
This is a wonderful forum on iDevice. It took me a whole day to try to solve my problem. But this is the only and final place where I can find the useful solutions.
