If you buy nuvi 1300 with splash D1340-00 and flash to SGMY, CHN,splash is the same D1340-00 and JCV wont work.
But if you change splash to D1340-50 or -65 JCV work.
If you look in inventory page on nuvi buy in US you find number -50 or -81 or -30 if you look in nuvi buy in China splash in inventory is D1340-65.
If we found nuvi 3760,3770 buy in China market we find splash number that unlock future.
Somewere in FW is writen code for splash.
When i buy my nuvi 1300 my splash was D1340-00 but if you buy now nuvi 1300 splash is D1340-81 and jcv work by default.
If i change splash on my nuvi 1300 to D1340-81 jcv work.
I search for splash number in FW 6 month, but cant find :(

Only in 1xxx series function enables by logo. In 37xx, 2xxx logo patching have no effect. It is another way for function enabling without firmware patching...

Firmware patch is easy way. Edit NV is hard and DANGEROUS!
