Playing arround with the new software v7.70 I noticed, that the demo mode ("route simulation") does not work properly - the vehicle goes back and forth on the 'Autobahn' after some km, distance decreases and increases constantly and the route isn't followed any further for hours.
Due to this I reverted to v7.60

Furthermore it looks as if Garmin has released the same software v7.70 for both the 2x5 and 2x5W.

Maybe this is the reason for that strange behaviour: Garmin didn't want to spent to much time for an outdated device and therefor didn't build two accurate releases?
Only Perry's software for the 2x5W did show a different checksum (and size), but this might be related to the fact, that he offers the software for HwID 0827 whereas the others are for HwID 0851.

Well, I have to confess I didn't download the 2x5W Software from Garmin directly - maybe my source did mess it up.
But after all, there is still that strange behaviour in the demo mode of the 2x5, maybe someone could x-check/verify that?

Well, I'll try a hard reset later on, but I guess I'm okay with 7.60 too.
More important to me is to figure out, how I can make that old Lady speak to me in whole sentences (TTS) - "turn left to elm street". ;)

Okay, made a hard reset before installing software v7.70 and even afterwards.
Then I started a simulation (~ 400 km) and after around one hour same behavior again: car jumped forth and back between 80 and 53 km to the next junction continuously.
So finally I decided to stick to v7.60.
At least Steffi & Yannik are now talking to me the way I wanted.

Whole route simulated without any problem on v7.60 again, so I'm quite sure, that there is something wrong with v7.70.
Haven't had any problems with the simulation before I updated to v7.70.
