    Default Dead Dakota 20

It all started when I updated the firmware, the internal maps were no longer authenticated , since I had no micro sd card at the time I thought by replacing the gmapsupp.igm file in the internal memory (after unlocking the maps in the pc and unlocker removed )would solve the problem. ,that worked fine but as soon as i powered off never turned back on, dead, not even forced usb mode. No reaction on display when connecting usb or new batteries. Is there a way of reflashing the unit through internal connections or a test point i could verify? Thanks for any help.

I am also interested in such a solution. Hope someone provide more information. I know that there are two pins near the USB connector on the PCB which serve for manual programing.

Did you try to enter in boot mode and flash the firmware through Updater.exe? It was something like holding the upper left part of the screen.

    Cheers,

Leave it a couple of days without batteries and again try flashing via Updater.exe
