    It's the same boot.bin & resources.bin as v3.60
    just different in fw_all.bin
    v3.83 = 12.3 MB (12,964,352 bytes)
    v3.60 = 12.2 MB (12,876,800 bytes).

    Maybe it's not big different. But the newer is usually better.

    Very good! Will test to see if i got a faster response from my device..

    Any hint on how to install it? I've tried [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] without success...

    ^ Try to put gupdate.gcd (3.83) in sd card\garmin and insert to nuvi.
    It should be installed while booting up.
    (Don't forget to delete gupdate.gcd within .system in internal memory first.)

    I've all the previous gupdate.gcd files in my nuvi, I just renamed them adding version n°, if I want to come back,is easy, I just need to rename the one I want to flash

    You are right !
    Because the file must be deleted is "gupdate.gcd" not "gupdateV360.gcd"
    I like this way too.

    "Copy-overwrite" directly to .System works also. Turn off/Turn on and system will start to update
