You can accumulate the 18 .img files using GMapTool join option to make it one and only. And so you have no limit.

curious too know how the diff imgs would display... Say you combine a marine map with an os map what would happen?

I was unable to patch latest firmware 3.30 of gpsmap 66sr with firmware patcher version 3.80, got error message "Pattern not found". It seems Garmin something changed in latest firmwares of gpsmap 66 series after NY.

Why do you need to patch the 66sr?
