Just tested all the following CH and SN firmware versions.

only 2 that boots the 3760 are 220 SN and CH, but no 3D. Think time to get back to US firmware. :(
It seems flashing the 3760 to CHN v230-250 is as much difficult as doing it with a 3790. so far, it seems only the 3750 can do it.
Question: does the 3760 has bluetooth? If this is the thing creating the problem in the first place, removing the BT files from the Garmin before flashing to v230-v250 may help... Just a thought.

Software version SGMY 2.30 (2.50 doesn't work), installed unlocked maps with 3D and last with no 3D building at all (even 2D).
