The very first post:
You can call this app anything you want but it came from Garmin Fleet 790.Quote:
28th June 2019 first post
This application is included in the official firmware of the car Navigator Garmin Fleet 790.
It is the same app that is used in the Monterra which was discontinued back in 2016 I think.
Both are Android based app Garmin units.
One app newer than the other but with the same problems.
Plus if you take a look at the manual Garmin Fleet 790 you will see there are a couple of missing items.
Real View
Dash Cam
Calling from the app.
The use of a sim card.
Fleet service.
Just to name a couple of items.
The fact you can not use Garmin Express to update any firmware problems.
The same with maps and speed cam updates.
Because this app is outside of the Garmin GPS unit it was made for.
The same for traffic it will never work because it needs an external power supply that attaches to the Garmin Fleet 790 GPS Unit.
All of this info can be found in the manual.......
I am not going to link it you can google it if anyone wants to take the time to read it.
You want everything to work the way it was made to then get the Garmin Fleet 790 GPS Unit.
The thread topic is about getting a Garmin app running on our devices.Quote:

Street Pilot was successfully migrated from it’s host device across multitudes of other devices.
Those threads were positive, no serial preachers of doom so the vide remained buoyant and encouraged contributors, and the incremental improvements resulted in many happy users over the years.
Constructive contributions are welcome, feel free to start a new thread topic on the elusive wonder apps.
@ashrafz
Still middle east safety camera is not working with me ,I marked it to be active from setting and reboot the device.meanwhile if I go to setting device about it is there .Do you have any advice
it should be a locked GPI file with edit fid to 900 + unl file.

@ashrafz
Yes iam trying with your file and no other files

Concern to Cyclops. Do you check it in simulation mode? You can not see camera on static map! Only alarm mode is available!
The functionality of JCV could be limited by the specific device.
My JCV image does not pop up, but if I tap the Next Turn indicator at the top left (and scroll through the turns if needed) the JCV does display normally.
So at the moment a manual step if I want to view it.
It needs the smaller 212x234 Street Pilot/Nuvi40/50 type JCV in folder Garmin\.System\JCV\.
Cyclops works OK but it could need a little more fiddling.
After following the steps to configure an unl for original encrypted poi, a camera icon did appear OK but no audible notification.
After messing with Proximity Alerts, Single vs Continuous and setting/disabling Aubile Driver Alerts, force stopping/restarting, the Audio did start working but I can’t confirm which step actually did the trick.
You can test all this in Navigation-Simulator but obviously you need to know where your camera’s are, and also the junctions with JCV as these could change. There are less junction views in the smaller file so you may not see all the junctions that you may be used to seeing in a device that uses the bigger file.
Both above in Australia
Same with me about jcv, cyclops work fine sound and cam icon, even another alert is ok like curve and school zone,
Try to tamper with the language of the device, for example, if you are in Australian English, make it American English, open the application, and then return it to what it was EA, and see if there’s any change 🙂
I was able to change to Voice to American_Jack, with Text & Keyboard to American and also British English and all worked OK.
When changing back to Australian Voice it seemed that having the keyboard set to American English was causing the voice to flip back to American Jack and it took a couple of attempts and force stop of the app before Australian_Lee would stick but otherwise nothing else seems to have messed up.
Cyclops & JVC continued to work OK with any combination.
