Installed Streetpilot 2.37 (res 960 by 540 and higher with usb charging fix) on Nexus 7 (2013). First time it starts fine, but then relaunched I get black screen. Any solution? Or maybe I need to change path for Nexus 7? Please help.

Also I need topo and routable road maps for MOROCCO. Where to look for? Will [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] work on Streetpilot 2.37? Is City Navigator NT works on Streetpilot 2.37?

Topo Maroc is routable but you can't search by address, by Pois only. It works on Streetpilot, City Navigators work on Streetpilot.

Catymag, thanks. Should I change path on Nexus7 to: /storage/sdcard/Garmin? Each time to start app I need to clear data/cache or I get just black screen.

Installed Topo Maroc v2 (/storage/sdcard/Garmin/Map) and get StreetPilot message "cannot unlock maps". Tried unlocking with PGFT_2254 "This IMG file is not locked". Please help.

I was only able to import waypoints. Could not import routes or tracks.

Hi, I tried to find the reason for the crash but failed to find a solution. It is complicated

One thing for sure is Streetpilot starts up differently on your device compared to mine. There is a variable pointer that doesn't get setup which crashes Streetpilot but I don't understand why it run with your work around.

My device Streetpilot startup. At #19 my devices makes a different execution compared to your #07 line.

Last thought: If you get IDA pro, then there might be a chance to do live debugging on your device and inspect the backtrace to find where it takes a bad turn that lead to crash. Then perhaps patch there.

    flagmax

Thank you for your valuable time troubleshooting my device problem.

I have used SP v2.37 (with the workaround) for long trip and it performed well beyond the startup Hickup
I guess I will live with this glitch until new version comes out.somehow I could not agree and settle with other navigation software (Sygic,iGO...etc).

Thanks for sharing the work around with us. You are the first to find it and report it Perhaps others can use it as well.

    Hello.

Nexus 7 2013, Android 6.0: Garmin (every available version) force closes immediately, not even black screen for asecond Same with Navitel, BTW. 7Ways, however, works...
    logcat:

    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
    ----

    Also, there was this line:
    10-08 17:12:36.385 W/PackageManager( 1372): Not granting permission android.permission.WRITE_MEDIA_STORAGE to package com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext (protectionLevel=18 flags=0x1808be44)
however platform.xml is already patched for SDCard access, and other appshave no problems with that.

    Thank you for your time,
    WBR - Drakosha.
