Tried that already, even downloaded another basemap and installed into ./System folder.
I can see that it is loaded into streetpilot if I go settings, device, about screen I can see the basemap name installed.
As said I can copy the complete installation as is to another phone/device and it works flawlessly.
Could it be due to the resolution of this tablet? 600 x 1024.
It is listed as working on the working/non working devices thread.

Do right cick and properties on gmapbmap.img and look if you have enabled read only attribut if you have then delete this attribute.
Also look for the same on map img.
Hi Lolypop
Checked attributes, read only is deselected. Compared it to my phone where the program is working correctly, both shows as deselected.
Strange one :)
Any other suggestions I can try?

As it looks from screens in post #84 (first and last), program is not able to correctly render some screens (picture drawn is much larger than screen),
so my opinion is that program (or some parts of it - map renderer, ...) is having problem with getting correct device resolution.
Something similar would be with iGO Primo when file "multimode.ini" is messed up, wrong internal skin used for given resolution.
Have You tried to start program in landscape?
On some devices (and some program versions) program started and worked correctly in one orientation, while not in other.
Maybe there is some way to set correct resolution for program, but I don't know how (I'm not such expert with SP).
I have tablet 1024x600 and all work OK in both orientation.
@deonl
Maybe you have installed some custom rom or use Xposed?
If you use Xposed, try to disable it.
Nexus 7 2013 Rooted 4.3 Seems to be working Great in Both Orientations! Thanks for the Great Work!
How does one get traffic to work or is this something that's not working yet? I haven't found anything
related to this for Android. If there is something out there, being steered in the right direction would be appreciated!
