Such a shame that Garmin doesn't want to allow regular android users to have access to Street Pilot !
I would be ready to pay the price of a standalone gps device for the app if it was available on play store... never mind !
But it would be so nice to have Street Pilot work on Android 6+ !
As for me, I don't have the skills, but it seems that some XDA gurus have understood and even solved the [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] for other apps that stopped to work on Android 6. Looks like it is possible to patch and "to reintroduce the old type for "writeString16" for char16_t that is now a default defined type in c11" so the app can work again ?
I don't really understand it ... but maybe all hope is not lost ?:playfull::question:
Maybe someone can investigate this ? Or we could ask for help on XDA board ?
Just my two cents :cute:
Merry Christmas to All.
I have installed 2.37 into the Azur 5050 in car entertainment system running on Android 5.1.1. Everything works fine except the system is always defaulting to 100% volume on start up. This causes the radio or whatever is running to output the full volume. This happens every time SP is started no matter what volume level was set during power off or exit from SP.
Anyone knows how to solve it? Thank you for any help.
Delivered on the Samsung Galaxy A3 2016 LolyPop 5.1.1-all OK!
