If Kies doen't do anything, the latest firmware for his tablet should be at sammobile.com. He can download it from there and use Odin to install it.

I have been reading through this and several other topics and I have two things that are not totally clear to me.
It stated "(960x540 to 1920x1080)" in the subject of this topic. Does that mean that this version will just be able to run on a device with a full hd screen without crashing or does this mean that this version actually capable of rendering at full hd resolution? My friend got it working on his MeMo pad 7 but it looked kinda blurry/low res to me.
I've been searching for this but maybe I don't us the right words/terms... Does live traffic work with this version? The app just tries to update the traffic info forever but doesn't seem to be able to.

Streetpilot 2.3x for Android actually renders at 960x540 resolution then it up scales to your screen resolution so it's expected to see artifacts with high resolution screens.
Traffic don't see to work anywhere expect maybe in Taiwan.

Which model exactly? I did a quick search and mostly i found lenovo 2 tablets with Intel chips... Garmin doesn't like Intel chips.
That tablet has an Intel Atom processor. As far as i know Garmin StreetPilot Android app only runs on ARM architecture based devices. So i'm afraid you're out of luck.
