I am on Note2 android 4.4.2, rooted, files in storage/sdcard0/Garmin. ( but I also see the garmin folder on /sdcard and /emulated/0 so I don't know which libgarminos and apk combination to use... I used all possible combinations of libgarminos and apks, but the best result was to have Garmin start and load maps, but hanging on "select a locale" without options to select from...or "streetpilot has stopeed". I cannot make it to work. I just wish someone with the same configuration like me could give me a link with a working set of libgarminos and apk files. Cheers.

This image says it is not correct memory location for:
• storage/extSdCard/
• storage/emulated/0/
• storage/sdcard0/
• storage/sdcard1/
Memory location is different for your phone.
Today I tested on a:
• Samsung Galaxy S3 with Android 4.4.4 CyanogenMod version 11 the same problem.
I finally succeeded working with StreetPilot2.33 in /storage/sdcard1/Android/data/com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext/files/Garmin
• Sony Xperia T (LT30p) Android 4.3 rooted the same problem
I finally succeeded working with StreetPilot2.33 in External : storage/sdcard1/Android/data/com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext/files/Garmin
Check with [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] inside of ROOT/storage/ name of memory internal and external.
Possible problems reported:
If the Garmin Street Pilot is turned on and connect the phone to external power (USB cable) Garmin Street Pilot application will stop.
The only solution is to connect the phone to external power and then to launch the Garmin Street Pilot so the application will work and will not stop.

Hello baghdadvaio aka ORAK,

Hi Catymag, I saw this statement twice now, but exactly how is this done? I tried and it does nothing! Webupdater is looking for a GPS unit and never reports finding the SD card.
I am trying to get my Asus Padfone 2 to use alternate text, but whatever I do it just defaults to american english and () ? which I guess is the remains of the old Taiwan Chinese. Any idea how to achieve this? I thought this update might work.
Hello, until Catymag answeres to you, let me add that I used this method several times... with Garmin folder on EXTERNAL SD card, the card out of phone into the card reader, and all garmin programs (mapsource, basecamp and webupdater) see the card as a garmin device. The simplest way (that I do) is to have a Garmin folder on a usb stick, in this folder you copy the garmindevice.xml file. Hope to be of help.

Did this, downloaded a bunch of files.
Unfortunately, after I copied the files to Garmin on my mobile, the garmindevice.xml was updated and now no new downloads are found.
As for languages: Only American English and Chinese TTS is available with timezone map seems solved
Most annoying, the time which shows on Garmin is 14 hours behind (with timezone map seems solved)
As already written above, Traffic is fine, JCV works also.
GPX folder must be in the Garmin folder, otherwise you can't import your Favorites
Cheers
Tom

WU downloads files as .zip files, after downloading files (better to do it in an empty sd ,plugged in pc, with only Garmindevice.xml in it) unzip and move unzipped files in the right place in phone.
Timezone map is needed to show the right hour in SP.
I think SP downloads 24x5&25x5 files.
You have to navigate to get to the good.
Galaxy S5 Kitkat 4.4.2 / Nuvi1200->1250 / Nuvi3790T->34xx / Nuvi 2200 / Nuvi 66 / Oregon 600
Thanks Caty, I did this before with the SD Card.
Keyboards seems using the one from Google.
Need to play with the folder structure probably.
Cheers
