"Garmindevice.xml" you can find it in: x:/..../Garmin/Garmin/GarminDevice.xml
Copy GarminDevice.xml in external SD:/Garmin/GarminDevice.xml

Confirm work on ExtSDcard, root Note 8 CivZ ROM 1.8 4.4.2, found only some issue about searching user POIs. Thanks

Dear Orak, downloaded your new SW at #83. Found everything, new directories etc. It works very smooth over internal and external SD. Upgrade works fine !!
Done a lot of experience over different maps.
I installed 3 different maps in the following positions :
in.... /garmin/ .System/
1° map :rename into gmap3d.img
2° map :rename into gmapprom.img
3° in ../garmin/Map:rename into gmapprom.img

Again a great job !!!

I have some issue from searching word 3 - 4 in menu "Where to..." > Software was "StreetPilot stoping."

I installed Streetpilot on my Galaxy S4 (4.4.3, non root) on internal storage and everything went great, but i can't add new maps. I have map of my region, AdriaRoute, and it's working fine, but when i replace it with new garmin city navigator map (2015.10, only balkan region) i get FC, but icon on status bar remain.

What kind of map use. Post a link to the map used

The problem is now about the base I tired map version 2014 and 2015 the same problem street names are fliped from the right side to the left side any help please

I've Installed on Sony Z (rooted) and Z1 (unroot), both 4.4.2, which when run on the gps simulation, but the jvc still not work but show the "Jcv it doesn't support this unit"

Everyone who is having "black screen/freeze on first start-up" (ex: Samsung S4 Stock 4.4.2 with no root) it is because on Google 4.4.0 and up the apps do not have permission to create files on SDcard
That is why you need to make an .apk with default directory: /storage/extSdCard/Android/data/com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext/files/Garmin
Step 1 install .apk [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] thanks to rf711 from 4pda for creating the .apk by my request
Step 2 after 1st start up, copy the Garmin folder to /storage/extSdCard/Android/data/com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext/files/
Step 3 enjoy StreetPilot on Samsung S4 with no root

tried every thing to run it on Kitkat 4.4.2 Samsung S4 non rooted but still not working
it gyves me black screen and some times white screen
can any body help
