Yeah, that could work. If you can start Viago on the VMOS system and can connect via ADB, just backup it to your PC and restore to the main Android system. (I don't know if ADB backup is still supported by Android 10.)
#zarquinus:
If I could install the 4007 app with my VMOS virtual system on my non-rooted phone, could I use adb backup to save it to my original android 10 system and would Viago work if I uninstalled the VMOS application afterwards?
Thanks!
/If it worked, could you ask for a detailed description because I'm sixty and not going so easily?/
In the meantime, I tried to install it on VMOS, rewrote my email address, it starts but quits. I think I'm waiting for Street Pilot to be upgraded to android 10 if it comes ...

I tried installing Viago 4007. apk with VMOS as described, but exits the program after startup. Probably I'm not doing something right but maybe the android 10 is the reason ...
Viago 4007 on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 with Android 10 in Root mode works OK with OSM maps.
I live in The Netherlands.
Now I have to learn how to operate Viago, is there a Users manual or Users guide somewhere around?
I just tried reinstalling the 4007 crack with vmos, rewrote my email address, overwrote it but it won't boot. I have moved on, because it does not quit immediately, but the circle turns below and after.
Someone who would know how to install it can be in private! Thanks!
I did the same installation of Viago 4007 on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 with Android 9 in Root mode.
Works NOT OK. It keeps asking for a Internet connection.
mollex:
Would you describe in detail how you installed it on android 10 and which apk file!
Thanks!
Requirements:
- You must have a Rooted Android. Since you have to write some files in the Data folder, where the application is located.
- Have installed some file explorer, e.g. MiXplorer, that allows you to enter the Android root folder (in Root mode).
- Download or have installed a patched version of Viago (The 4007 version worked for me).
Procedure:
1- Install Viago, and execute. Advance until you are asked to connect to the Internet and close the application. Then force the application to stop or restart the phone.
2- Download these 2 files: "generic_prefs.xml" and "com.garmin.android.apps.viago_preferences.xml"
Files.zip
3- Edit with Notepad or any editor the file "com.garmin.android.apps.viago_preferences.xml" and replace "[email protected]" with the email registered in your Android user account.
4- Copy both files to your cell phone storage. Then with the Android file explorer (in root mode) move them to the folder "/data/data/com.garmin.android.apps.viago/shared_prefs/", overwrite the existing files when asked.
At this point, viago should start. I had to do this more then once !!!! Then copy the offline map, gmappsupp.img and country_codes_generated.gar to its location on the storage card.
Afterwards I leave the content of the files, in case the links are broken.

Hi,
I have the first Garmin system, not worked with it yet.I read a lot and got Viago up and running.I just can't include the maps,do not know which files fit.Now Viago starts without maps.
If I want to download maps, the navigation system writes that I have no internet connection to the server.
The following message comes: "Error occurred while communicating with the server. Make sure you are connected to the Internet and try again later"
I found this: "City Navigator Europe NTU 2020.30 UN FID 8360",So the navigation does not work.
Which map do I need? Where should I insert the maps?
Please i need your help, thank you in advance.
Spoiler: my phone
Viago 4007 on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 in Root mode with Android 10 and MIUI 11.2 (xiaomi.eu_multi_HMNote7_20.3.5_v11-10) rom does NOT work !!!
This is strange, since it works OK on a "PixelExperience_lavender-10.0-20200224-1012-OFFICIAL.zip" rom.
How come?
