Thank You for this information. So I have to give up Garmin on my phone :((
Is there any other GPS project working with 320 x 240 resolution on the LG E420i (Android 4.1.2)?
Best regards

Hello all, I've just ran through the entire thread in last two hours, so I'm well educated now ;) However I'm trying to find three responses to topics not addressed in any of the post.
1. I'm searching for a way to completely disable SP's sound - but just only for the application not the system or media volume. Let me explain the purpose - I'm using SP on a Chinese car headunit. It handles the sound routing for Radio and DVD application separately from the Android (via the so-called MCU board) but it has the possibility to recognize the sound coming from Android system (forex. Neutron music player), turn off the Radio sound and let just Android to do the sound output. But you can imagine, what happens when SP voice and headunit's radio is in place. Constant switching from one audio source to another one resulting in gibberish in radio output and in navigation one as well. If the SP could be muted so no sound is propagated to the android, I'll be the winner.
2. I'm using 2.22 version with blue bar on top of the screen. However I'd like more the green one as could be seen on the US version, because it'll match my saab's green illumination better.
3. If I could get rid of the battery and signal icons, I'd be glad too.
Thank you for any help here.
1) No solution for audio
2) Try to use another locale for example US or Australia
in nuvis it makes the bar and speed limit icon different:

3) If you use files from post n1 no problems with icons: look at my screens.
Confirm works on Sony Xperia SP, with Jelly Bean 4.1.2, root and no root.
