When you ask for help, post more details, so other people can understand you better! First and base thing at posting for help is posting phone-tablet configuration, at least link with specification of your device or model, not all chipsets supported by modified Garmin SP And!Quote:

The speedcam tone is not even a solution?
Hi there, thanks for the great work !
My path is:
/mnt/external_sd
Canīt find the right version here- can anyone help me ?
And if I got the right version, do I need to install ist like written in Post 1 ?
Thank you in advance !
Okay i've read through both the 4.0.4 thread and this thread regarding installation of StreetPilot. I've got it running on my Galaxy Note with just the resolution off a bit. However I'm trying to install onto my Asus Nexus 7 and it opens up to System Initializing then backs out to the home screen. SP stays running in the background, but each time i try to open it goes back to home screen. Is this due to the Tegra chipset and if so is there a work around?
Yes.Quote:

No unfortunately any workaround.
I can confirm that this one can run on xperia z (rooted). I put the main garmin folder in my external card and use the correct libgarmin.os (storage/sdcard1). It still have crash on several occasion but it works in general. Oh and one more thing, I run on Android 4.1.2
Post when crashes happened to you in which situation, that other members can suggest you maybe some workround. And post do you use official ROM or customized, this apply for other who post about problems and experience, smartphone/tablet model, specs., rom-official or not official, at least these details.
Sorry for the incomplete information. I use official ROM and SP crashed in the following situation:
1. I activate simulation but at the same time I have no reception on the gps (it is the strangest situation I had yet since I assume that in this mode, no gps reception will be required).
2. I press the GPS setting and it will crash instantly (the background still run though)
3. When I do a search, sometimes it will crash but other time it work without a problem. The same problem occurs when SP doing recalculation (sometime it will crash but not at other time)
I also notice that these thing happened in the display:
1. My DEM didn't seem to work (so I only have a flat map) even though the DEM map can be read by SP and I activate it in my map
2. Not all of the POI can be seen in the map even though I set the map detail to "more"
You must enable GPS in settings in phone before starting SP.
Are you using CGPSMapper compiled maps ? If yes this is the reason of crashes as stated in post n1
Simulation mode disables GPS reception in Nuvi and in every GPS devices.Quote:

POIs are not shown in Navigation like it happens on new Nuvis starting since 3xxx series, to see pois you must hit the side bar, not in navigation, and look for the ones you need.
DEM should work, it works fine in my SP, check gmapdem.img is copied in the right folder
