    Stupid question.
    I was messing around with the jet mouse keygen and SW.unl, gmapsupp.unl files trying to unlock Garmin for locked maps...and it works..
    But I don't know what I did or how.
    me and a buddy can't reproduce it for his phone...
    Anyone know how to get mapsource to build a map for this Android Garmin with out using a third party unlocker?

    I add Caty modified libgarminos.so for external_sd and libgmxt.so from first post and sign apk.

    If anybody can try and report if work with no root or with no manual copy this file in phone and report if work.

    @nutpantz
    I think it's the same than with any other Garmin device, probably the Android sw requires .gma file to unlock maps with FID greater than 2200, so you get the unauthenticated status without a .gma file.

    The stumbling block is obviously libgarminos.so.
    I have tried and edited perhaps 15 versions now. Set to /sdcard, /external_sd (my default microSD card) and even /mnt/external_sd with the Garmin folder suitably placed.

    They ALL startup OK with the Garmin logo and "initializing" then go to a blank screen with the software running. The GPS starts and the Garmin triangle sits in the tray.

    Oh well I guess I will have to wait for more magic. )-:
