No it doesn't work, it always shows no map.
Mapsource creates another file, during the transfer to the phone.
Itryed to change the ID inside, but that doesn't work.
The id of this map(europe) is 397, but even by changing it to 197, it doesn't work.(in fact the map doesn't unlock in mapsource with this id.)
Edit: I can upload the map.img, if you want to test yourself.
Edit²: When I try recover from phone, the map is recognized too, it displays the selection of France. It doesn't help much, but it may be helping to reduce the search fields

What if I renewed? the mapid or the unlock code?
MAPSOURC.MPS is created only if the transfer is in pc suite mode, in data storage mode it's not created.
I think the easiest would be to revert to a previous version of City Navigator, maybe it works
I've tried with new map source version, but still doesn't work.

I finally succeeded!
When you select one or several countries from a map, as the European, it is necessary to add a basemap. I think there must be a problem with the basemap that I used at the beginning.
It only remains for me to find a European basemap only (or even better French) and it will be perfect.
A small question, is somebody has already managed to open these IMG file?
When I see this file: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
More precisely its structure ... and this name...
I think it should be possible to either create its own img file.
does anyone have this?i started downloading it(takes a while),but i dont know how to install it on my nuvi.i have(bought separately) a 4gb sd,so plenty of room.i allready have installed city nt europe 2009 on the nuvi,so dont wanna mess that up...
What happened to the "general Garmin" Sticky ?
(I mean the sticky with all the Garmin maps, Garmin software, manuals, tutorials. in one thread....)
I can see the maps in the different threads, but we used to have 1 sticky containing everything bundled ....
I miss this sticky !
