Hi guys,
The map is about 2 decades old. Some of the newer roads are not on the map. As an example, the new bridge built across Kelani river near Kelaniya Temple is not in the map. So the gps always route via Peliyagoda or Kaduwela - If you need to cross the Kelani river from above areas.
Believe me, I am having Garmin Nuvi GPS with above map installed, and have fallen in great difficulties.. Some roads had dead ends... I mean over time, some people have blocked the roads and built houses and road is no more.. So take care when you route via short cuts...

Guys,
I have been driving with my garmin Nuvi gps since one year and have all the road tracks recorded in the gps in an archive folder.
I thought of correcting/editing the map (by loading my tracks on top of the old map, and by adjusting the roads) , and tried it with gpsmapedit, and finally came out with a good map which is routable reasonably accurate. But the map edited via gpsmapedit is in polish format "*.mp" and has to be converted to IMG format to be able to use in garmin device.
I have tried it with cgpsmapper many times and ended up with an error. Don;t know which caused the error and still stuck with it. Pls mail me if you guys have some experience in converting polish map tom IMG format. Thanks.
