I have been using Free Topo maps for years and find them very detailed.

I get my maps from "OpenFietsMap" and they have never let me down.

    Hello Pilourando
Isn't this detailed enough for you?
You can zoom till into your bedroom ;-)
There is nothing better, more readable, up to date and reliable (and cheaper) then (Garmin) OSM maps.
Garmin Topo maps are out of date and unreliable.
I don't know that wood-section but maybe your Garmin topo V2 map shows no longer existing trails.
Best option is to combine Garmin OSM and Garmin Topo maps to create your route. (and rely on OSM)
If you read the reviews, buyers state there's nothing updated in V3 compared to V2.

    Hello Blackbir,

I know some path in this wood and they always exist but not show in OSM map.

@aspirin624, you can keep this Topo Light, it's bullshit.

    @pilourando,

Must you resort to using profanity????

People reach out to help you and smack their hands.

Well then dig down in your pockets and pay for what you want and be done with it.

And stop looking for hand outs at this forum you are not going to get them.

    Try reading the rules

    Info on:

TOPO Benelux v3 Light and there is only one version of this Topo from Garmin.

    Spoiler: From the Garmin Website
Laat u door Garmin te voet of op twee wielen door België, Luxemburg en Nederland leiden met deze kaart die is samengesteld op basis van de door gebruikers gegenereerde OpenStreetMap (OSM) database.

Be guided by Garmin on foot or on two wheels through Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands with this map compiled from the user generated OpenStreetMap (OSM) database.

If you do not like it take it up with Garmin

    Hello Pilourando,
Yes off cause you're right. But no map is complete and without failures.
I combine Garmin Topo V2, OSM, and Dutch Kadaster TOPO maps (not routable) to create my routes.
Kadaster TOPO maps are official dutch gouvernment maps, updated every 2 years and never the less incomplete and containing not existing off-road tracks.
My experience is that OSM maps are by far most reliable.

Also, I've checked for you online topo maps in OziExplorer. Non of them show tracks in that specific wood section. Garmin Topo V2 seems the only one.

Ik heb me vergist.

I have been mistaken. The reviews I quoted covered the update from Garmin Topo Germany Pro v7 to V8.
If the Garmin Topo Benelux v3 Light map is based on OSM maps, I think there is little reason not to just use that free OSM map.
