I use Garmin Montera.same question wich file should I download?
You've actually been told how to work it out already by catymag ['Give a man a fish ... etc, teach him how to fish ... etc' ;)]. Hint for JCV: All 1xxx devices have a maximum display resolution of 480x272 pixels, so 400x366 file will work.Quote:

Monterra cannot use ANY of the additional files, only the map is required. This is also easy to determine by the method given above, or by checking the device specs:Quote:

So download the smallest pack and only load the map img file [preferably use microSD:/Garmin/gmapsupp.img].Code:https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/on-the-trail/handhelds/monterra-/prod113522.html#specsTab
General Note: We like to help, that's what this forum is all about. But you'll save your time by checking the [Only registered and activated users can see links. The nüvi 55LM does support JCV. If using a microSD:Quote:

- Place the unlocked map *.img file in the folder SD:\Garmin
- Place the corresponding *.JCV file in the folder SD:\Garmin\JCV
Make sure to be using FW version 4.40 or 4.50, otherwise the unlocked map file will not be accepted by your nüvi 55LM. See information in post #78 here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
Iam using Kenwood DNN9350BT, which files I should download for the Maps?
All gmapprom.img map files are identical. Only the ancillary files vary between the various downloads.Quote:

Garmin on Kenwood DNN series Head Unit supports JCV, 3D building and 3D terrain. It can display 400*366 JCV, so you can download any of the links with gmap3d and 400*366 JCV files. And to make it complete, download Indonesia DEM file from the link mentioned by admin.
