Downloaded the gmap and put it in C:/ProgramData/Garmin/Maps
After that, I made my own card-selection using Basecamp/MapInstall.
When the imagefile was ready, I used the method as discribed.
It works well with my 64S.

One question: What do you mean with "unicode features"?
"Unicode features" means that on map non latin characters wont display properly in map labels and in search probably.Quote:

These are the same maps except that in winter map, steep slopes (> 30°) are displayed in red hatching (useful for cross country skiing or snowshoeing to avoid avalanche triggering)
