Hello all. After installing on sd card City Navigator Europe NTU 2015.40- .IMG file, JCV, SID, SQLite, I have got a problem with my nuvi own map (CN RussiaNT 2015.40) adress search: where to/adress/city/-only one letter on the keyboard is active- K.
Previous releases of maps work fine. May be somebody faced that problem?

It is because in this map there is the single town with address for Russia - Kerch' :) I think it is bug. Speech recognition is not also work occasionally. You must select again Russia as country for full search and normal ASR. The this or next bug also appears when you select countries and you can see all countries in Russia and Europe even Europe map was deselected in menu.

Exact description. Seems to me there's a conflict between using .sid files, nuvi is "trying to apply" additional files of Europe to Russian map, while starting. When I'm deleting them from sd card (european map, .sid file for adress searching), adress searching for Russia works well.

I have closest look at problem. Address Search Gray-Out SID is only the reason of bugs:

If this file be deleted there is no problem with country choice and searching but there is not Address Search Gray-Out for Europe.

The other sight on problem take place if full instalation be used:
1) Only searching for Europe map is available for Ukraine. I can not perform searching for Russian map in Ukraine.
2) In all case if I change text in menu to non-Cyrillic languages there are no problem with searching. Украина is for Russian map and Ukraine is for Europe map or pair of Россия-Russia for example...

I have download POST#69 "Original locked Gmapprom IMG",
and unlock by "gimgunlock.0.03+MapSigPatch".

But,it can't unlock in my device nuvi4590.

nuvi4590 not support NTU map?

You must change IMG code page from 65001 to 1252 with Imgtool

But,I want to know what is "IMG code page"?
Why must change to 1252?

Code Page 65001 handles Unicode features in NTU maps (NTU version includes Cyrillic ,Greek and non latin languages characters in labels search etc)
if you change it to 1252, you will loose unicode features, but map will work in your unit along NTU version addition files.
So you have to choose, because NT version doesn't provide some additions files for new units, because they don't exist in NT version that is for old units.(ASR2 for example)

I've got nuvi 55 with 4.30 firmware.
I can not find unlocked map for this device. I've tried all unlocks all maps at this forum but nothing works.
Are there any ways to get the map for this damn garmin!?
