Link in post #6 is alive and contains the 4 regions in one unlocked file of 2.4 GB. Please do take notice of the information in post #10 by Mapperoni.Quote:

What model GPS are you using? Some models are not capable of using map files larger than 2 GB.
I tested the 4-maps-united-file in a GPSMAP 64st. Map did not show up in the maplist in the GPS. However: I was able to find and open the map in BaseCamp when connecting the GPS to my PC.Quote:

If your 64 firmware is not patched you cannot use unlocked maps

I have been using my GPSMAP 64st right out-of-the-box-no-updates-or-modifications-done, and most unlocked maps works well on it.

I downloaded the map offered in post #6 and it is indeed not recognised in my (unpatched!) GPSmap 64s, confirmed by the error message: "Can't Authenticate Maps. Contact content seller for help.". As catymag says, you need to patch the FW (firmware) of your GPSmap 64st if you want to use this unlocked version of the map.Quote:

However...!! Although the map is already unlocked, it is not stated how it was unlocked. I re-unlocked it by using [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] and voilą: now the map is recognised by the unpatched GPSmap64s. ;)
Weird SF, 64 sw should have MSV.
Weird indeed.Quote:

I downloaded and re-unlocked the 4 maps , but none of them worked in neither my 64s nor 64st.
I then updated the firmware on both modifying the gupdate.gcd-files using FirmwarePatcher.
Sorry to say; still non of the maps show up in the gps.
All of my other unlocked maps still work though.
I don't get it...
Hm, my new 64s with firmware 4.1 as delivered works fine with the four separate maps (generated from MapSource) unlocked with qimgunlock+mapsigpatch. (CNEU works fine as well)
Will not upgrade to 4.2 that seems to be avalible, "If it works, don't fix it".

Yes, these fw have the MSV, but it is weak (ie gimgunlock-0.03+MapSigPatch is enough to unlock without patched fw, except for Unicode maps).Quote:
