Yes, I did run with all map files having filetype ".img".Quote:

The ".imgX"-files were hidden in a separate folder. JaVaWa did not detect or react on those maps.
Of course, I can try to remove everything that can possibly do any harm and keep only the four v3 files and the Gotalandv4 including the SQL-folder in Garmin folder. Doubt it will change anything.
Update:
I installed all four v3 maps and the Gotalandv4.img plus the SQL folder on a brand new SD card.
The Oregon did not see the v3 maps. Only the v4 map.
JaVaWa result changed. The earlier indication of "Read only" did not reappear.
try these, test and give feedback please.Quote:

Installed this patched Gotaland map on a SD-card where already the four Topo Sweden v3 maps and the new CNTEU2015.20 reside.
Still, the v4 map makes the four v3 maps invisible and therefore unselectable in Oregon 600. The EU map is not affected.
When you say "patched", what is it patched for?
Patched for new G units as user quoted in my post requested , see:Quote:

They work, thank you very much catymag! Tested on new Zumo 590LM.
Will I break the patch if I split the img with GMap Tool? I would like to change the typ-file.
To change the typ file you don't have to split the map, you use the Change-tab in GMapTool. Nothing else gets broken.
TYP files for better readability can be found here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
Smulan, could You please give me a step-by-step instruction on how to change TYP file with Gmaptool (v 0.5.8)?
I made a try, but it seems that nothing changed.
I first tried to use Pietu's exe file to do the exchange job. I used Your 'Green' Typ file and I like the result. It works fine with my Oregon.
However, it upsets BaseCamp. Have seen, when displaying headers with Gmaptool, that the headers are not identical after the typ file exchange using Pietu's program.
