MapSource version is used for PC install. From there, using MapInstall, you could create your own .img file for use on the GPS unit.Quote:

The .img file is the form in which the map is ready for use on the GPS unit (sometimes still needs to be unlocked).
For more detailed information, have a look at the Tutorial section: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
Right i add just a small thing , mapsource is okay for older navi standalone type 205W 200, 300, 255 etc.Quote:

Wrong, when you build the img from new City Navigators with Mapsource, resulting map can give problems in every nuvi. Some users tested some routes in CNE and in CNA and MS crashed.
One route making crash MS was in Italy from Naples to Mondragone for example. If the img is in internal memory in some old devices it can brick it.
Tested on nuvi 350.

Hello,
Does anybody know when the City Navigator Europe NT 2015.30 will be released?
Next version will be 2015.40 probably.Quote:

Garmin releases NT version actually twice a year.
This happened in current year 2014, so we guess it will be the same in 2015.
sent with my phone
I have a nuvi 350 and downloaded the unlocked maps, and installed them to the device using MapInstaller, but the roads don't display on the unit. Is this the right thread? Or should I make another?
@dhamel
Assuming you've kept the compiled image file to under 2Gib as established [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...], ensure that the map is seen by the unit and enabled: Tools>Map>Map Info. It should show the map details and have a check mark in the box.
I've done that, and there is a check mark in the box, but no roadsQuote:

Hard reset the unit. Backup your favourites first if you want to restore them later.
