@Syzygy A while ago I traveled to Hong Kong to see some family I download your offset-corrected and the unlock maps onto my Android streetpilot but there was an offset on both maps. My question is the ported streetpilot for android will that correct the offset with the ".bin" file or will the offset corrected maps fix the problem. Thanks for the help

I have not used Android StreetPilot before. If it contains the .bin file you mentioned then you should remove it when you use Venus series maps and POIs in China. Otherwise, the .bin file will add shifts to the coordinates generated by your GPS chipset and render the infamous offset problems.

Is your Nuvi 2xxx a Garmin China model? If so, download the one matching your model from post #1. If not, download the one without QSI from post #4. Your device must be able to display and input Chinese characters to use either map, otherwise use the English version from post #9 (and download the Venus map at post #9 or #10 of the opened link).

It's a 2013.20 pretty outdated. I guess I'll have to wait for an updated version of the English garmin china maps

Hi, friend, I did download those China map. and install in my Garmin 1390T European version. even I put unlock key still can not work.

Use gimgunlocker, no .unl

I highly doubt this...

Type 1 contains a gmapprom.img file with a size of 2.94 GB. Yet, nüvi 3xx and 6xx units are not capable of recognizing map files larger than 2 GB.
Also, type 1 contains a JCV file which the nüvi 3xx and 6xx units are not capable for either.
