As luck would have it! Release 2014.20 contained the all significant and numerous number of negligible changes in Finland for about the last 2 year. But if you was waiting for 2 year it is no problem to wait for another 3 month!? :)Quote:

I think Garmin does not have sufficient resources to compile so many maps every 3 month. It is called as the growing pains. :)Quote:

They do have a legal loophole though. This is from the 'Requirements' tab of the EU LM page [nice place to hide stuff you don't want ppl to read. Score 1 for the Legal Team ;), 0 for the Consumers]. My emphasis in red:Quote:

Terms and Limitations
If you purchase a nüMaps Lifetime subscription (sold separately), you will receive up to 4 (four) map data updates per year, when and as such updates are made available on Garmin’s website, for 1 (one) compatible Garmin product until your product’s useful life expires or Garmin no longer receives map data from its third-party supplier, whichever is shorter.
Note the other nasty. If they stop receiving map data from the supplier they can drop you like a hot rock. AU Sensis is now only updated twice annually, soon that may stop altogether because Garmin switched to Navteq/HERE for map data exclusively on new devices well over 2 years ago. I can't see them continuing to pay for Sensis data ad infinitum. Will be interesting to see what they do when all the 1/2/3xx0 LM holders scream blue murder if they do drop Sensis completely.Code:https://buy.garmin.com/en-GB/GB/prod33380.html?utm_source=GarminEMEA&utm_medium=GarminLandingPage&utm_campaign=EMEA-nuMaps#requirementsTab
The other above posts are fair comment though for EU because the data is the same in EU and EUU releases.
Then what is a better alternative to have updated maps ? Tomtom? Wait till they open source the creation of maps?Quote:

Does D3048150A.JCV (393,158,576 bytes) or D3589120A.JCV (150,768,453 bytes)?
Thank you very much and greetings to all.
