I'm just after looking and seeing that option in the settings menu. Thanks Giomen, it sounds very useful (better than a single beep which is easy to miss, especially if listening to the radio), I shall give that a try.

Zippy dl's can be done simultaineously, all 14 from Post #1 [13 x 200MB; 1 x 6MB] together will probably be faster that a well-seeded torrent anyway. I guess you're actually referring to the free slow individual 8 files on FileFactory from Post #2 which are indeed going to be as slow as a wet week.

OK, I downloaded the 14 files, (Pc version locked with installer.FID: 3222 PC install NT 2014.40 -13 RAR volumes,, unpacked size 4.012.186.338 bytes) I unzipped, but the install I got an error like file not found CNEURONT.MDR.
I repeated the installation but same problem.
I can`t attach the error image.

My nüvi 1490 has an active sqlite folder (but no G2S). Is there a suitable .DB file available for the non-Unicode version?

I also have a Kenwood Naviceiver that uses non-Unicode maps and has SQlite Folder. Can I use the SQLite files from Unicode Version?

If there is a SQLite folder, it must be updated too!
But, update with non-unicode version, for safety. It’s better have all files updated to the same version to avoid conflict between map, JCV, ASR,…

Other matter is I guess that Kenwood not use SQLite, only basic map (gmapsupp.img), 3D map (gmap3D.img), JCV, ASR and POIs; maybe, these files remain non-functional. Check the manual, or inform the specification of your device… It’s not possible to correct inform if you don’t tell the exact model.
And, check also if you have the last firmware.

    Hope been helpful.
