Catymag, in post #2 pc "full original pc install locked" .gmap came with another files. What is the use of those files? Thanks.
You can use just gmap folder and copy it in the usual location, you wont see it among installed programs in Control Panel/ Add or Remove Programs list.Quote:

If you use the installer from the above original package it will be installed in Windows and it will create Registry keys for it.

Thanks for the torrent link but unfortunately, the Mapsource installer is not included. Any chance for a MS torrent link? TIA
@narc60
In Post #2 by catymag you have the full PC install in 10 rar parts on ZippyShare which can be downloaded simultaneously and are confirmed working. That's probably going to be much quicker [and safer] than a newly-posted torrent anyway. There are also other links for the full install version and gmap folder only in the thread.
Which ASR for 885, please?
@MikieP
I'm sure 8xx doesn't use ASR'2' which afaik suit only 2012> devices such as 3490, 3x97 & 249x etc.
I suspect there have only been 2 types of ASR. Could you try the ASR'1' files from Post #1 and report? One way to perhaps confirm prior would be to look at the current SRD files in the unit's ASR folder, if naming format is English_American.srd then the other ASR/SRX files should be ASR'1' as in 2011 devices [3790, 2x60].
