Hello to all
better if your written Garmin compatible model with files JCV
For example, there D2563120A_JCV - D3531090A_JCV - D3532070A_JCV
Thank you for all
Not sure if I understand what you're trying to say here... :thinking:Quote:

I guess he means he'd like to see the uploaders specify the model compatibility of the different JCV files, rather than have to look at the unit's inventory or the current JCV file on-board for an earlier map of the same series to compare similarity in the file names [D25631x0A etc].
Quotable quote 'Life wasn't meant to be easy.' ;)
So this is it then!
Still no Sensis equivalent yet?
:boat:
G'day Sherms,
I think Sensis versions are going to be quite less frequent than Navteq, going by the sporadic Sensis versions issued since Navteq became Garmin's map data provider of choice. I personally suspect that there may still be an unexpired contractual arrangement between S & G. However, I'm less strong in my conviction on that theory as time passes since the change from Sensis to Navteq back in February 2011. Certainly Garmin purchased Navteq map data for AU/NZ before then, but only loaded it as OEM onto delz and the "truckie's nuvi" 465T units i believe.
My guess is that eventually Sensis will disappear.
The img is not showing up on my nuvi 265 as well as the in the basecamp. But when place the gmap folder in basecamp resources folder, the map shows, just not the img on removable drive.
img is unlocked, file name is named correct and placed in "Garmin" folder. When tried other img file, like north america, isreal etc, it all shows. Just not this one.
Probably some problem with the image file itself. Did you download an image separate to the gmap folder, or did you compile it yourself? Open the image in GMAPTool and check in 'Info' or 'Details' if any error shows or if it's still locked . If OK, run gimgunlock on it. BaseCamp can display locked images though.Quote:

If there are errors shown, for a downloaded file please advise which one. If you compiled it yourself using MI try again to see if you still get a bad image.
In your nuvi 265 the image should be named as gmapprom.img, gmapprom1.img or gmapsupp.img in the Garmin folder. In SD Garmin folder either gmapsupp.img or gmapsup1.img will work for a detail map using latest 2x5 US fw.
