    @Plassoy
    Nup, how or when the correct asr and map files are added [from Garmin via GarminExpress/WebUpdater, via MapInstall or simply copy & paste to the unit/sd's correct folders] makes no difference. Perhaps one of your files was faulty or your first full EUU was a tile short using MI [easy to miss one sometimes]. Often also, just rebooting the unit again or clearing NV/hard-resetting it does the trick if it acts up even though the files are all good.

    Just a quick question guys: I am using City Navigator Europe NT(Unicode) 2014.30, what JCV files are suitable?
    I see D3048130A.JCV and D3589100A.JCV on the NTU version
    and I see D3084120A.JCV and D2504150A.JCV on the NT version.

    the answer to an earlier post was to use the jcv from the NT version.

    If so, what's the purpose of the jcv from the NTU version?

    and catymag posted this:
    D2504150A.JCV High Resolution For 1XXX/Zumo/7X5
    D3084120A.JCV for other Low Resolution models
    Both are full screen mode.
    New nuvis use NTU map and NTU JCV files
    could you post a compatibility table please (like a.jcv is fullscreen for NTU and 34xx b.jcv is splitscreen for NT and 24xx, etc)?
    btw, I'm on a Nuvi 1410 and a Nuvi 54
    thanks in advance

    JCV files are release version dependant: NT JCV doesn't work along NTU map and viceversa.
    1xxx series receive NT version from Express or Mapupdater so will use NT JCV.
    4x/5x series receive NTU so will use NTU JCV, 40/50 use their own NTU 40/50 JCV file, they wont work with other nuvis JCV and wont work with NT JCV.
    New Nuvi series since 2012 use CNE NTU maps, older models CNE NT, along their version release addition files.
    You can check in your nuvi for files names and, to find the right JCV file name, increase of one set of ten in the last digits per version.
    Example: D2504140A.JCV -->D2504150A.JCV

    Thanks for the info catymag. So in my case:
    Nuvi 1410 using CNE NTU 2014.30 should use D3048130A.JCV
    and Nuvi 54 using CNE NTU 2014.30 should use D3589100A.JCV, is that right?

    Not sure CNE NTU on 1xxx will work properly (address search problems sometimes), better to use NT version. You can use the big JCV without any problem on 14xx.
    For 54 use JCV for 40/50 NTU JCV. This only will work on 54 along NTU map.

    Actually you should use NT Map in your 1410 if you want to conform to normality.

    Anybody with this map have IFTA and HOS function on dezl760?

    With friend found out that if you set to any country with NTU map no IFTA and HOS function, but if you install NT map you have IFTA and HOS button and function work.

    But with NT version ALG and JCV don't work, maybe becouse ALG don't work also JCV don't work.

    Try with both JCV for NT map, but JCV don't work.

    Isn't IFTA a North American program? And the HOS maximums and assessment requirements are probably still quite different comparing NA with EU. No Unicode map for NA, so perhaps these two features are simply map dependent and the function loss is intentional?

    If this will only work in NA why Garmin don't add this in specification for this nuvi?

    Look specification here in UK site:

    I guess that Garmin thinks it's enough to leave out info, as if that's sufficient warning of certain on-board features not working. Call me cynical, but i don't think that's good enough. If they are going to rely on that in advertising and not 'grey-out' or remove the icon from the unit via locale setting in fw then it should be upfront warning in spec tab at least as you said Loly. In fact it should also be prominent on the EU overview tab as well imo.
