    Dear sir,

    my Nuvi is 2460 and I have CN Europe Unicode on MApsource. I have load some country ( Italy Suisse and France ) on my SD card and after I have paste GMAP3D on the same location. So, i have the following 2 problems :
    1) I cant see in GPS setting the gmap3d to select
    2) In Interest point , when I found , any date is on the list .

    I have other map and 3d inside Nuvi and all work perfectly .
    Any suggest ?

    Best regards

    @ 2004fabio

    1) but your nuvi (and series) support the gmap3d (future) ?
    2) for view POI's list: set position in Europe in simulation GPS or fix the satellites in Europe

    Roger is correct in querying if 2460 supports 3D buildings because it doesn't, not DEM either:
    Code:

    And in my 2460, i haven't been successful to enable 3D feature [future] either.

    Hi, thanks for upping all the necessary files!

    One issue I have though, is that I cannot get the voice commands to work. I have a 3790T and when using the original maps that came with device I have no problems. However, when using the updated files, I just get "This command is not available in England". I have added all the ASR, JVC and G2S files to my device, and placed the updated img and gmap3d on an SD card (no more room on the device for these 2 files). Am I doing something wrong? Maybe I'm missing a step? I'm using the additional files from post 3 if that matters.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    @plassoy
    Have you got the full EU map or just UK loaded? Assuming you have the correct ASR/SRX files [which you seem to have] and they're in x:\.System\ASR along with and the correct .SRD file for your selected Voice file [English_British.srd if you're using English_British_Daniel.vpm or English_British_Emily.vpm TTS file], then having only a partial map of EU loaded will not allow ASR to work fully. See: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], and advice from Garmin:
    Code:
    Please Login or Register to see the links
    PS: If you're stretched for space on the unit, you can also put all the ASR & SRX files in sd:\Garmin\ASR folder. However the *.srd file must remain in the unit's ASR folder.

    @Neil
    Thanks for the reply, sorry not got back to you sooner, been trying different permutations and my Garmin copy's files at a painfully slow 1MB/s!

    To answer your question, I did install the full EU map, but also tried just loading the UK map too, just in case. I think I solved the problem though.
    It appears that it was because I had added the ASR files after installing the map update. I'm guessing the MapInstall program amends some of the configuration files to use the updated ASR files, instead of the ones associated with my original map.
    Not sure if that was due to an issue with my original installation or something that happens on every Garmin and I was just doing things in a different order to everyone else.
    Either way, if anyone else has issues with the additional files, perhaps it is worth copying all the additional files to your device first, then installing the map update last.
