    use only BaseCamp/MapInstall for modern NT maps. MapSource will produce an image in a slightly different way which possibly can result in errors.

    Please remember me - is any difference between usual ASR (not ASR2) and ASR for NUVI 8xx Series?

    Sorry. Maybe you and I was confused ASR2 for NT Unicode but ASR for 8xx was always equal with all ASR device like nuvi 2xx0, 37xx (old version of SW) and other open source SW devices without support of NT Unicode maps.

    Caty, if helper do not may edit alien post, please change on page 1 what this ASR suit for all device with that NT map.

    @Gioman
    AFAIK also there have only been 2 types of ASR files. I added the link to Post #2 but only mentioned 8xx because generally EUU is used with 2xx0/3790. I think the 8xx files will also work with them if ppl want to use this non-Unicode map [but why?], better to use EUU though imo as i can't see any advantage using this one in a [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] [I also misunderstood your original question and thought the same as Kaluluka]. Nevertheless i'll amend Post #2's note accordingly.

    The first, I suppose what G2S and ASR for non Unicode maps is present already. It was my mistake!
    The second, a some Zumo and nuLink models can be cooking ASR too.
    The third, a some individuals stay on non Unicode map on device due to fullscreen JCV for example for 37xx.
