ANADIGIT Map or Greek Anavasi as we use to call it, was the only topo map for Greece for a long time so it was the best solution for anyone who wanted to go off road. Now with the arrival of Topo Drive Hellas things have change and that's because both maps don't have the same off road coverage, believe it or not. If you want to go off road with your 4x4 or ATV vehicle AnaDigit is the map you need but if you want to go for hiking, hunting or in the trail with your bike then the best choice is TopoDrive Hellas. If you want to have it all you must copy both in your device.Quote:

To be honest ... both maps are way behind from other topo maps standards, please take a look at OFRM Geodrade, compare it with TopoDrive & AnaDigit i think you'll agree that they need a lot of work to reach this level ...
None, two different companies with no relation beetwen them ...Quote:

Nice search...
After playing around with TopoDrive Hellas I must say I am really impressed!
I think I like it even better than Anavasi TopoNavigator.
I found a problem with the typ file however, the creators of this map kept the typ very basic and made a mistake with the Draworder of some polygons.
Polygon 0x10f07 defines National Parks but it has Draworder 9, the highest of all. The result is that entire national parks are covering other important polygons like lakes, forests and Rocky areas.
Example: Lake Prespa at the border of Albania and FYROM is totally hidden by the National Park.

I corrected the typ by changing some draworders (see result above).
Just replace the typ file with GMapTool or JaVaWa TYPchanger.

Many thanks Mapperoni for your useful TYP.
But the Topo Drive Hellas version 2013.A map has another big problem.
There is no elevation information on GPS display and BaseCamp too.
Have you any idea how to correct this problem ?
It's probably a problem with DEM.
No problem for me since my Oregon 600 shows GPS height and Altimeter height anyway.
I never use DEM shading since it makes topo map details hard to see.
I am not interesting about the map shading.
The problem is if someone creates a route in GPS or in BaseCamp and he wants to see the elevation profile of the route.
The elevation is zero in any point. That is the problem.
I know what you mean but I can't change it.... ;-)
This version of the map is missing DEM and probably that's the reason why it's smaller than previous one. If elevation data is a must have for you astra56 then you should use previous version (2012.Α).
