Is there a chance that someone who makes modifications in the sql and image and place them here? Unfortunately I can not get it done. thank you very much !!
U don't have to change the sql file, you have to change the img file
use imgtool to change the header info (product number)

I don't have the original TYP file. I only have the img file and until recently also the db file.Quote:

Is the TYP file a must on an Oregon 6xx ?
The TYP file is inside the .img. Thats why you need GMapTool or Typchanger to replace the TYP.
I advise you to use JaVaWa TYPchanger because it's the easiest way to change a TYP file inside an img.
Code:Dutch: http://www.javawa.nl/typchanger.html
English: http://www.javawa.nl/typchanger_en.html
Ok, I'll guess I have to wait until I have my GPS with me, because Javawa GMTK appaerantly cannot read img files from a (imdisk virtual) sd card.
