I installed TCN 2013.30 on Basecamp, Nuvi 200 and Kenwood DNX 7340BT. On both the Nuvi and Kenwood, the map cannot be read. I tried is as an unlocked map and as map with UNL-file. It simply doesn't detect the map. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Forget about using *.unl files with modern units and also with older units loaded with recent firmware. The Garmin [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] protection is not overcome by unlock codes with maps having FID of 2200 and greater [this one has FID 3119] but it is defeated by unlockers such as [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] & [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]. If you have an unlocked image you don't need any of those anyway.
How you have named the file and where you have placed it may be the problem. The nuvi 200 can see the file as gmapprom.img, gmapprom1.img or gmapsupp.img in the Garmin folder. Or named gmapsupp.img in the Garmin folder of an SD card [also gmapsup1.img will work in there with recent US/EU fw, but not with Asian units]. The Kenwood probably needs the map named as said [gmapsupp.img in Garmin folder] on an SD or a usb stick to load it [but i know little about them, so maybe search for that info]. Plenty of good tuts and tips here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Not sure about the Kenwood but the Nuvi 200 should be fine to unlock the map by unl file.
However, which filename did u use?
Try gmapsupp.img or gmapsupp1.img

I have two Nuvis; an older 770 and a 2595.
Downloaded & unlocked "Map (TH-En dual), SID, sqlite, J014709.JCV ~ 411MB" from post # 4.
Installed the unlocked map on both devices, both work fine.
When I start BaseCamp; on the 770, the map shows up no problem; on the 2595, I get "An error occurred when attempting to use CN Thailand NT 2013.30 (Dual) Map Product"
Any clues why ?
Thank you.

Close BasCamp. Try to delete the CardProductCache. Start BaseCamp again.
C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Garmin\BaseCamp\CardProductCache should be where the Cache is on Vista, 7, 8, on XP it's a similar location.
Each time you use Basecamp with a different GPS the error occurs with that other model. Basecamp seems to only be able to recognize the map rights on one GPS type at a time.
