    Dear Roger, good afternoon.

Sorry but it should not be easier to answer it...or not? Or I lost the answer...?

    Thanks!

Mapsource is not available. "Use Basecamp" with device connected.
You can make your own Mapsource using Gmaptool Split but of course address search is not working.
Perfectly usable for viewing map and for creating routes and tracks but not usable for splitting map or installing to Device.
Explain further why you need Mapsource

    The answer is quite obvious:
we can not know whether there is the MSV...if it exists, is waiting patiently. That some user loads this version, as always happened even without repeated requests boredom. 1 or 2 time....ok and Stop.
Otherwise ask and answer directly to the Garmin...why not?
Ah...and do not forget to inform us, then

    Cheers

I tried the process of transforming map files .img in files to Mapsource.
I ask you to run “install.bat” and test.
We will try to solve any problem that may happen in this install (the 18079743.img file is missing; following the software used cGPSmapper).
Please, give me a feedback only if anything goes wrong; and just a “like” is enough if all goes right (useless or thanking posts are not allowed!!!). I can’t test it in my PC because it already has this maps installed. And I accept suggestions to improve the process to do this conversion (and will make this to other maps…); it’s only my first attempt...
All maps are already unlocked; however, suggest generating the file .unl using [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and FID 2925 (use the Garmin WebUpdater to discover your “unit ID” and save in word to further refer). Also suggest add the another files; like JCV files,…

Recommended to use [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to unpack my files.

2 things : these Mapsource GmapTool maps wont have address search enabled on pc and in IMGs sent to device.
Img copied in an sd (plugged into your pc) in a Garmin folder will be seen in Basecamp. So better to use Basecamp and original img.
Again , if a map is unlocked you don't have to add any .unl in nuvi
Maps with FID greater than 2200 cant be unlocked in nuvi by the .unl file. Nuvi would search for .gma you cant have

Yeah, it's a split screen file. In 1xxx the split jcv is usually stretched to fill the screen so is quite out of proportion. Hard to say which look is worse, maybe better like your 765 in-proportion with back bars imo and certainly better than none. Full screen doesn't seem to have been posted in recent releases, maybe you'll get lucky.

    newer version here
