Hmm, curious. Linksavein forward you to uploaded.net, and there I cant download the files, uploaded.net just want to give me a javascript-file. Thats weird and seems to contain virus.
Regards.

Seems the zippyshare links from post 2 and the uploaded links in post 3 have all expired. Any possibility to repost (preferably on zippyshare as on slow internet)?
With thanks in advance

Hello,
I've downloaded gmap folder from #6, copied it to the required folder, installed to the device (GPSMAP 62st).
What should I do to be able to see the map in Basecamp? (It works in GPS device)
Thanks a lot!
Very strange !
A gmap folder is only for use on your PC/Mac and can not be seen on your gps. PC/Basecamp does see your gmap and with Mapinstall you can install the map on your gps.
For Basecamp: depends of your operations system (Windows XP, Vista, 7 ..., or Mac) where to put the gmap folder.
Or you put the map on your gps and want to see the map from your gps in Basecamp ? Then its a question of the Mapsource-flag I assume. But that is not neccessary when you have the map as a gmap folder on your PC/Mac.
So, I can not quite see what you exactly meant.

If your problem is you're unable to see the *.img in BaseCamp read this:
When you create an image file from a PC instal/gmap folder the 'MS flag' is automatically set to '1' in it. The image can then be seen and used by the device, but not by BaseCamp when the device/card is connected to PC. For the image to be also seen by both BC and the device you must reset the flag to '0' [zero]. Easiest way is to use ImgTool or GMapTool, probably a little simpler to do with [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...], just a couple of mouse clicks:

Hello Catymag:

Is the extra TYP file an alternate TYP file or just an additional copy.
Thanks
Probably to see street names in the map.
