Could anyone tell me if Garmin 765 uses the NT or NTU Europe vesion ?

NT only for your model. NTU is only for very recent models, which can also use NT.

The 765 uses NT
Nuvi 765 uses NT version as default. But it also can use an NTU version as I do on my 765T.Quote:

This has already been discussed many times in relation to 1xxx series device! Some have problem with searching by town and POIs on relevant language if this town and POIs has the several variants of name for local and user languages. I include myself in :)Quote:

Give me time for access to non-unicode device. But I have problem with searching airport terminal and big city in Suomi (Finland) and Germany, only English and Russian translation (not German or Finnish) was available for searching but I did not know how it is writing on this languages...Quote:
