Files from 3490 --> does that mean it's only for Nuvi 3490? Cannot be use on Nuvi 3450?
Are usable and compatible.
Some will be useless, however, because functions are not supported by the lower model (for ex. as ASR)
Bye,bye
The Lane Assist feature is embedded in the IMG file (no separate file needed) and only works on specific models.Quote:

Lane Assist should not be confused with Junction View (JCV file) which also works on specific models only.
What model do you have?
Difference explained here:

Good afternoon
I was able to DL this file and renamed it to install on my NUVI 850
map works but I can not load a GPX route file
I DL the file to the 850 fine from mapquest
Nuvi says in imports and shows progress and when its finished , no errors
yet when i go to routes I see no routes
I am on the road and didnt bring a copy of my old map AGHHHH
So i cant revert back to old and try to inport routes
I was importing routes fine a day before i upgraded
Not sure whats wrong?
The waypoints or route you selected from Mapquest should appear in the unit's Favorites list. Routes must be imported before they will appear in the Routes menu.
1.Turn the device on
2.Touch Tools
3.Touch My Data
4.Touch Import Route(s)
5.Touch the MapQuest route(s) you want to import, then touch the Import button.
The whole correct procedure is here:
