Anyone knows if this compatible with Garmin Handheld GPS (Oregon, Montana, etc)?
Yes, this is for Garmin devices.
I am having troble to unlock the GMP mapsource version using Protected Garmin File Toolkit v.2.2.5.4.
Am I the only one?
Edit:
The "unlock mapset.exe" worked when using "Administartor rights"!

Garmin City Navigator Europe NTU 2013.40 for old nuvi and garminxt 2GB....?
Hi, thanks for your posts!
I have Nuvi 1490T what kind of files I must put in:
1. G2S folder --> D2925090A.G2S maybe ? And where I can find it?
2. JCV folder --> D3048090A.JCV
3. SQLite folder --> D3413070A.db
JCV and SQLite I have found them, are them the right files for my device?
Nuvi 1xxx don't use G2S and Sqlite that come with CN.
If you install NTU on 1xxx series, you will have problem with search address on your nuvi.
Whait for NT version of CN, this is prerelease, CN still not available to download from Garmin servers.
look for paths in your GarminDevice.xml in Garmin folder.Quote:

<Location ><Path>.System/SQLite </Path><FileExtension>db</FileExtension></Location>
<TransferDirection>InputOutput</TransferDirection></File></DataType>-<DataType><Name>PreProgrammedLaneAssist</Name>-<File>-<Specification><Identifier>JCV</Identifier></Specification>-
<Location><Path>.System/JCV</Path><

I have put D3048090A.JCV file at folder SD:\Garmin\JCV and it works perfect I have tried that todayQuote:
-<UpdateFile><PartNumber>006-D3048-09</PartNumber>-<Version><Major>2</Major><Minor>0</Minor></Version><Path>.System/JCV</Path><FileName>D3048090A.JCV</FileName>
I have to say that when I bought my Nuvi 2 years ago (with City 2012.10 not LMT and firmware 5.40), it HAD folder JCV (with D3084010A.JCV file) with ORIGINAL City Navigator.... So every time I found new City Navigator Map Version, I put the new JCV file (in SD card). Old map and JCV has removed from internal memory of Nuvi. And xml file had:
So, Nuvi1490 supportes JCV filesQuote:
-<UpdateFile><PartNumber>006-D3084-01</PartNumber>-<Version><Major>2</Major><Minor>0</Minor></Version><Path>.System/JCV</Path><FileName>D3084010A.JCV</FileName>
But it didn't had nothing in sqlite folder.... only other files, not *.db files in it.... BUT xml file (with City 2012.10 not LMT and firmware 5.40) said that:
ONLY G2S can't find in xml.....Quote:
-<UpdateFile><PartNumber>006-D2130-00</PartNumber>-<Version><Major>0</Major><Minor>0</Minor></Version><Path>.System/sqlite</Path><FileName>006B213000.db</FileName>
So, what is that D3413070A.db file, and what it is doing? I see in xml file folder "sqlite".... that's why I am confused...
