Thanks, I didn't realize that the 4gb internal storage wouldn't be enough.
SQLite is needed on 34xx models? or only 37xx?
my 37xx had a 160mb D232800.db file, but I deleted it, and now the 34xx only have 7mb file D3397050A.DB. Is this normal?

I know I'm late replying. It was supposed to be part two that I linked to. However, while I posted the wrong link, Peter also failed to notice the link at the bottom of part one that would have taken him to part two. As Neil discovered, both methods work. I wouldn't have posted them if they didn't. I know they work because I personally have used both in unlocking my map downloads direct from Garmin. But Garmin Image Unlock is far faster. :)
hello friends, I just have one comment, why 3d map doesn't works on iphone garmin USA-v2.1.07 , but it does on 2.00.19 version? do I need to put the files on other places? new version claims to have new "layered" maps. I din't see any notable difference.
Have you unlocked it?Quote:

Can anyone provide a link to the asr file for the 3790t to work with 2013.20? The link on the 1st page takes 12 hours to download.

I have a 3790T to which I would like to install the latest updates however I am not exactly sure which files I need to include or exclude. For example which of the files on the first page do I install on my 3790T? Which .JCV file do I choose? Do I need the SID files? The .db files and if so, which ones?
@OneBadTexican
You unit's GarminDevice.xml file will tell you not only which files your unit supports but also their path. Look in your unit's Garmin root folder.
Your 3790 will use either the large or medium JCV files, choose the large preferably.
SID files are used by 34xx series.
@VIP Master I appreciate the information provided and was able to open the .xml file but I am still confused as to the .db files to use. If you will note in Post 1 there are two different .db files neither of which are referenced in the .xml file. As far as the SQlite files I don't know where those who or if I should even put them on the unit.
Any further assistance would be truly appreciated. Thank you!
From post #1 and for 3790 (your device):Quote:
