Google could not find them. Does anybody have them, or can they be downloaded somewhere?
I guess searches could be faster with the smaller files.

Will the extra data from the SQL files, show up in Basecamp?

    Hi,
There are not so many changes with Topo v2 except the name of mountain huts, a few more GR and a new typ.
So, can anybody explain why Topo v2 .img file weights 1,8 GB whereas Topo v3 .img file weights 3,75 GB !?!?

I don't agree with you, if you take a close look (I compared both maps in many areas I know) all data has been updated; buildings are removed/added, waterways are changed, all GR trails are totally redone, all forests are much better defined and many other vegetation types are added.
The entire map is redone and map-tiles are much larger now (647 tiles in v3 against 1021 in v2).

By the way, V2 is 2.6 GB.

See my observations Catymag posted in post 19.

OK. More GR added. But it would have been better not adding them instead of adding wrong paths !!!

The new (wrong) added GR is the red broken line.
The right GR (I did it this summer) is in black below !

Nice GR, le sentier Cathare (GR107)!

Yes, it's not exactly on the right place but it's better than the missing part in v2.
It does show the good direction though so it's not that bad.
In v2 ALL GR-trails in the entire South-West of France were missing!

With TypViewer you can edit the typ-file and change map-colors and road thickness.
Adding a new polyline (from a gps-track) is something totally different. Since this map is in NT-format it's impossible to edit a map-tile. The easiest way is just saving the track on your GPS and activate it when needed. Another possibility is creating your own transparent overlay-map ;-)

You can add a polyline for Active Routing. Quoted from TypViewer thread:

Select the polyline you want to modify according to various Profile Activity and click on Edit.
Copy and close the Edit window.
    Click on New (i.e. Polyline)
    Paste
Modify the colours (or everything else) as you want
Don't forget to choose your Activity you want to (keep the same type and subtype than the original polyline).Save the Polyline

Save the typ file (To do this, don't forget, before saving your modified typ file, to increase the size of the header to 174 bytes (using the combobox "Header size"))
